IT Project Manager
Pascagoula, MS
$34–$37/hour, based on experience
1-Year Contract | ASAP Start
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support medium-to-large technology initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
This position will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and managed service providers to plan, coordinate, track, and successfully deliver technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate medium-to-large IT projects
- Develop project scopes, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Track project progress and communicate status to stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and managed service providers
- Support budget and financial tracking
- Maintain project documentation and reporting
- Follow established PMO governance and PMI-aligned project management practices
- Translate technical project information for non-technical and management audiences
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- High School Diploma 7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree 3 years of relevant experience
- Master’s Degree or higher 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years managing enterprise-level IT projects
- PMP or CAPM certification
- Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Planner
- Microsoft Planner Premium experience
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects
- Experience working with outsourced partners or managed service providers
- Experience in defense, government contracting, manufacturing, shipbuilding, or another highly regulated industry
- Strong technical background
- Budget tracking experience
- Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies
- Experience using AI-powered project management tools for scheduling, resource planning, or risk analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
