Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Demonstrate products through engaging demos, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales
- Maintain accurate retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing inventory to keep the store inviting and well-stocked
- Upsell complementary products by understanding customer needs and offering tailored recommendations
- Process retail sales efficiently while adhering to phone etiquette and customer service standards
- Support product knowledge sharing by educating customers about Harley-Davidson MotorClothes apparel and accessories
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, retail sales transactions, and cash drawer handling
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in person and over the phone
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math, sales totals, and change calculations
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base
- Knowledge of retail store merchandising, product demos, and stock management techniques
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities
