Davidson Ford has immediate openings for an experienced Automotive Maintenance Technician/Mechanic with a NYS Inspector’s License to join our busy Service Department!

Pay Range: $22 - $26, Hourly or Flat Rate, depending on experience
Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Keeps advisor aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Skills:
- Valid New York State Inspectors License.
- General maintenance.
- Brake repair.
- Tires (Mount and balance, repair, road force balance).
- Alignments.
- Suspension diagnosis and repair.
- Exhaust repair.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Skills:
- Manufacturer Training
- Welding training/experience.
- ASE certifications.
