Minimum 3-5 years procurement experience in wholesale distribution, preferably Foodservice or Food Retail.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

- Supervises include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
- Ensure fill rates of 99.6% or higher while maintaining inventory targets.
- Reduce inventory write-off exposure by managing dead, obsolete, and overstocked products.
- Ensure product costs are correct and consistent; maximize margin by managing cost of goods.
- Serve as a liaison between sales and procurement team
- Analyze market trends and cost drivers.
- Evaluate supplier performance through KPIs and reviews.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement team.
- Lead and/or support cross-functional sourcing projects.
- Maintain procurement records in ERP systems.
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and analyze spending patterns.
- Prepare procurement reports and provide strategic insights.
- Resolve procurement-related issues.
- Analyze customer, sales, and procurement data to support strategic decision-making related to customer transitions, service implementation, and account closures.
- Coordinate procurement-related activities associated with new customer onboarding and customer changes.
- Oversee customer offboarding activities, including inventory disposition, supplier communication, and inventory risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain metrics to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Evaluate sales forecasts and customer demand trends.
- Record and maintain weekly buyer metrics and support metric goals.
