Job Description
The Driver Check-In Representative position will perform the following duties:
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months
Administrative support performing basic math and computer data entry and skills.
The Driver Check-In Representative position will perform the following duties:
- Daily delivery driver check-in (receipts of day's customer deliveries).
- Ensures daily essential items are returned and secured (keys, phones, driver's bags).
- Schedules inbound delivery appointments via phone and email. Fields transportation calls regarding (driver locations and sales reps assistance).
- Daily cross-departmental communication with leadership (Transportation, Warehouse, Accounting).
- Review, verify and manage invoice payments for completion and accuracy.
- Payment Processing, responsible for handling and processing various forms of payments (Cash, Checks and Credit Cards).
- Collection and management of lumper fee payments. Checks delivery driver routes, organize and process driver documentation (route logs and return sheets), customer orders and prepare for operations.
- Records driver arrival information, maintain clear communication regarding wait times and payment instructions.
- Scan, upload and files essential documents (purchase orders, lumper logs, invoices, credit memos and other documents) into Canopy system.
- Send email notifications related to incoming mail deliveries.
- Inputs employee's orders.
- Receives appointments and other duties as needed.
