POSITION SUMMARY
Cost specialists are responsible for managing all costs associated with the assigned line of business and interfacing with all aspects and personnel of the COMPANY requisition-to-pay process to ensure a seamless, delay-free process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create, coordinate, and maintain building estimates
- Responsible for tracking and managing the cost of various projects
- Collaborate with various team members and/or other departments on various projects
- Ensure that any potential risk with the cost of the project is identified and clearly communicated to all relevant stakeholders
- Responsible for developing a forecast while integrating the scope growth process with the forecast
- Understanding and responsible for extracting data at the WBS and WO level
- Responsible for performing data analysis
- Responsible for creating, amending, and closing the purchase order process
- Creating and closing the experience with project builder, WBS, WO, and Network in the SAP system
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as needed
- Compile and generate periodic reports and templates for all relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as company values
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High school degree or equivalent education or related field
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Cost Specialist managing or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in the Oil and Fabrication Industry
- 5 years of experience as a Cost Specialist managing multiple, ongoing, large projects. Experience with managing large volumes of data – such as using Power Platform (Excel –Power Query, SAP, Power Pivot)
- Strong knowledge/mastery in SAP, Excel, and the entire Microsoft Suite of programs. Experience with Power Platform (i.e., Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Apps) not required but preferred
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Experience operating standard office equipment
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at the time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
