We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. The Sales Consultant will be responsible for generating leads, conducting product demos, and utilizing CRM software to track sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling and direct sales to potential clients.
- Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to prospective customers.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to manage leads, track sales progress, and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies that enhance lead generation efforts.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to our products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Participate in territory management by identifying key markets and developing strategies to penetrate those areas effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales or technology sales with a strong understanding of account management principles.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals within a competitive market environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions that drive sales performance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not mandatory.
