Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales and a passion for driving business growth through effective account management and customer engagement. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions, and fostering long-term relationships. The Sales Consultant will be responsible for generating leads, conducting product demos, and utilizing CRM software to track sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling and direct sales to potential clients.
  • Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to prospective customers.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to manage leads, track sales progress, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies that enhance lead generation efforts.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to our products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Participate in territory management by identifying key markets and developing strategies to penetrate those areas effectively.

Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or technology sales with a strong understanding of account management principles.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals within a competitive market environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions that drive sales performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not mandatory.
