Duties
- Guide customers through the financing process, explaining loan options, contracts, and credit terms clearly and confidently
- Analyze credit reports and financial information to determine loan eligibility and appropriate terms
- Negotiate loan agreements and dealership add-ons to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Process loan applications efficiently using financial software and perform title processing to ensure legal compliance
- Upsell extended warranties, insurance products, and other dealership offerings to enhance customer value
- Maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service throughout the sales journey
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet monthly targets and improve overall dealership profitability
Skills
- Proven experience in loan officer roles within automotive or financial services industries
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, TILA regulations, and contract management
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on upselling and closing deals effectively
- Proficiency in financial software, title processing systems, and basic math including 10-key typing skills
- Exceptional customer relationship management abilities paired with outstanding customer service skills
- Familiarity with dealership operations, automobile sales processes, and loan processing procedures
- Ability to analyze financial data quickly while maintaining attention to detail for compliance purposes
