Performance Fuel Lead
Paradiso Performance Fuel — Mayville, NY
$21/hour | Approximately 32 hours per week | Part-time
Paradiso Performance Fuel is a brand-new fitness and wellness concept opening in Mayville, NY. We are looking for a dependable, organized and outgoing Performance Fuel Lead to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our gym and smoothie/coffee bar.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of their work and can confidently keep an operation running when the owners are not on site.
Schedule
Approximately 32 hours per week, primarily:
7:00 AM–3:00 PM, four weekdays per week
Some flexibility for occasional weekend coverage, training or operational needs is preferred.
What You'll Do
The Performance Fuel Lead will work regular shifts while also taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide friendly, welcoming service to Performance members and Fuel customers
- Oversee day-to-day Performance Fuel operations during scheduled shifts
- Prepare smoothies, coffee, protein drinks and other Fuel menu items
- Assist members with memberships, facility access and basic GymMaster questions
- Help prospective members and provide facility tours
- Monitor inventory and communicate/order needed supplies within established guidelines
- Keep Fuel ingredients and supplies properly stocked
- Help coordinate staff scheduling and shift coverage
- Train and support part-time attendants
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout Performance Fuel
- Monitor gym equipment and report maintenance or facility concerns
- Help ensure opening, closing and daily operating procedures are followed
- Reconcile cash and prepare deposits according to established procedures
- Communicate operational issues and needs to ownership
Who We're Looking For

- Able to lead and support younger/part-time employees
- Comfortable working in both a fitness environment and food/beverage operation
- Willing to clean, restock, prep and jump in wherever needed
- Comfortable learning membership and point-of-sale software
- Interested in being part of a new local business from the beginning
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, fitness, food service, retail or team leadership is helpful, but we're most interested in finding the right person.
Compensation
$21.00 per hour
Approximately 32 hours per week, with the potential for additional seasonal hours as the business grows.
About Paradiso
Paradiso is a new wellness destination being developed in Mayville, NY. Performance Fuel will be the first part of the concept to open, combining a modern fitness facility with a smoothie and coffee bar.
Spa & Suites will follow in a later phase, creating a larger destination focused on movement, nourishment, restoration and stays.
We're looking for someone who is excited to help us build the culture of Paradiso from day one.
Expected start: Late October 2026 for training
