Temporary Payroll Data Entry & Reconciliation Support

Position Summary

The temporary resource will provide administrative support by entering information from paper timesheets into an Excel workbook and assisting with weekly payroll and billing reconciliation. The position will require a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict weekly deadlines.

Shift: 7:00am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Enter data accurately from paper timesheets into an Excel workbook on a weekly, week-ending schedule.
• Review entered information for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile timesheet data against invoices previously billed to customers.
• Identify and research discrepancies between timesheet information and customer billing.
• Assist with balancing and reconciling applicable payroll tax information.
• Communicate with supervisors and other team members when additional information or clarification is needed.
• Maintain organized and accurate records throughout the reconciliation process.
• Handle employee, payroll, customer, and financial information with a high degree of confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas and structured workbooks.
• Previous experience with data entry, payroll, accounting, billing, or reconciliation is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet weekly deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities while effectively collaborating with supervisors and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee, payroll, and financial information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
