Being a master of all trades, the candidate will be responsible for inventory control tasks that range from receiving, handling, storing, shipping, packaging, transporting, preventative maintenance, and have outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment and philosophy according to company and national standards.
- Oversee all inventory and warehouse materials for Perfection Fence.
- Manage inventory tracking systems to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Evaluate and manage schedules of deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures and to anticipate any inventory shortages.
- Optimize and maintain warehouse and storage systems for inventory rotation and access following first in, first out principles.
- Manage the preventative maintenance schedule for the Perfection Fence Corp. equipment/fleet and request specialty services and supplies as needed.
- Establish relationships with coworkers and vendor delivery personnel to ensure business goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Solid understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet a fast-paced environment.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have MA Hoisting License or extensive forklift experience.
- This is a hands-on position that will require extensive physical labor and working outside in the elements.
