About Us

Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant and event space revenue, but many venues are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains. Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants and venues an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local them compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes other event services (DJs, florists, etc).

Role Overview

As the first Corporate Partnerships Account Executives at Perfect Venue, you will play a critical role in helping people find the perfect venue for their next event. Through cold outreach and building relationships, you'll make Perfect Venue the go-to destination for corporate event planning, talent, and ops teams that are scheduling client dinners, happy hours, and other events for their organization.

This role blends sales, event planning, and customer success. You’ll be the face of Perfect Venue for both new clients you source and inbound leads, ensuring that every event booked through our marketplace is a success.

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow Event Planner Bookings
    • Reach out to new potential clients to introduce them to Perfect Venue to book venues.
    • Drive repeat business by building strong relationships with existing clients.
    • Create and execute marketing initiatives that drive awareness and new business to the marketplace (ie events for event planners, social media, etc).
  • Event Planner Success
    • Manage inbound inquiries and ensure prospective clients are guided through the booking process.
    • Support clients in planning and executing events to ensure a seamless experience.
    • Collaborate with venues to confirm details and resolve challenges.
    • Build strong relationships with event planners to drive repeat business.
Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in an outbound sales role (event sales experience at a DMC, incentive travel company, corporate catering sales role like Zerocater, etc is a plus)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at once in a fast-moving environment.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for marketing and client experience.
  • Passion for events, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.
