What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer – NYC Construction Projects position at Perfect Restoration Inc?
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with hands-on construction experience to support and manage civil works on active projects across Brooklyn and NYC.
Responsibilities- Review construction drawings, submittals, and RFIs
- Perform site inspections and coordinate field activities
- Support concrete, foundation, grading, drainage, and site work
- Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Ensure compliance with NYC DOB codes and OSHA standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3–4 years of construction project experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Ability to read civil, structural, and architectural drawings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Experience working on NYC job sites preferred
