What you’ll actually do:
- Manage one accounting clerk, mentoring, developing, and leading the charge.
- Peforming full cycle accounting to include month-end close, G/L entries, reconcilliations, monitoring collections, overseeing A/P and A/R.
- Reviewing and approving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales tax returns using Avatax.
- Preparing quarterly bonus and commission calculations.
- Create and previous sales reports, analyze and suggest improvements within the reporting function, as well as the ERP and CRM softwar,e as it relates to flow and efficiency between departments.
- Manage and prepare the annual budget.
- Preparing quarterly bonus and commission calculations.
- Various analytics, special projects, and constant review of internal controls, and making improvements as needed.
- Fixed asset and inventory accounting.
- Manage all business licenses and sales tax license renewals, prepare and file property tax returns.
- Processing payroll (for 15-20 people).
To be successful, you’ll need:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or previous work experience as an accounting manager.
- 7 years of full-cycle accounting and leadership/management experience.
- SAGE, intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- ADP preferred.
- Energetic, upbeat, optimistic personality who is also efficient and takes pride in what they do and where they work.
Where and how much:
- In office role, Northern Colorado.
- $80k - $110k depending on experience, plus discretionary annual bonus.
- Medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage - 401k with an automatic 3% contribution when hired.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
