SEEKING
Equity actors for immediate temporary replacement for the role of James Ascher in PERFECT CRIME.
JAMES ASCHER - a very macho, swashbuckling detective - a "sexy Columbo" type. He is very strong and smart, and over the course of the play, solves the mystery and falls in love with the potential murderer. His relationship with the wealthy woman he thinks is the killer is a "Katherine/Petruchio" relationship - two people who initially hate each other and fight with each other - sometimes physically - but fall in love. 45 years or older and ideally would be at least 6'.
John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard/Smallville) recently played this role.
This is for a 4-month replacement contract, but we would also consider another limited run for an established film or tv actor looking to work in NY for a month or more.
