Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented warehouse worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for putting together materials for our crews for the following workday, picking and packing, and helping to maintain an organized warehouse. Experience with electrical materials is a plus, but not compulsory.
Duties
- picking and packing orders, which involves collecting products and getting them ready for loading on company vans when crews return to the shop daily
- checking incoming goods against packing slips and inspecting them to ensure they are free of damage
- unloading delivery trucks and unpacking the contents of packages, reporting any missing items or damaged boxes, materials
- using warehousing machinery, such as forklifts, to lift, place and remove items on high shelves or racks
- sorting items and placing them in the correct location on shelves or in bins
- loading company vans with the materials for the following day when the crews return to the warehouse at the end of the workday
- complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Various other warehouse tasks as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
