Resident Care Aide (FT/PT)

Schedule:

Full-Time and Part-Time:

• 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m

• 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m

• 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m

Salary:

$18.00–$22.00 per hour (shift differential included, based on experience)

Employee's working evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are entitled to a shift differential

Resident Care Aide Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with memory impairment with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, while maintaining their dignity and promoting independence.

• Ensure compliance with and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident care.

• Immediately report any changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor, including signs of illness, behavioral changes, unmet personal care needs, medication concerns, or unknown resident whereabouts.

• Promote and encourage resident participation in community activities.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate preferred.

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification welcome but not required

• One year of caregiving experience preferred.

• Compassion for and a genuine desire to work with older adults is required.
