Resident Care Aide (PT)

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide. Jumpstart your career and join a team of compassionate caregivers!

Schedule: Part Time

7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00 pm - 7:00am

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour - based on experience

Shift differential available for weekend and evening shifts

Resident Care Aide Responsibilities include:

• Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence
• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Maintain and document proper records of care
• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor: evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities
  
  
  

Resident Care Aide Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law
• 1 year working in a care-giving capacity preferred
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
