Human Resources GeneralistOVERVIEW:The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) is a key member of the Human Resources and Operations teams helping to aligning business objectives with employees and management in the Restaurants. Reporting directly to the leader of the Human Resources (HR) function, the HRG will help to execute the People Strategy & Agenda by helping to operationalize policies, programs, and practices at the Restaurant level, as well as taking the lead in compiling and providing data to understand the effectiveness (or not) of these initiatives. The HRG will serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the teams in the Restaurants, helping to educate and support in various aspects of Human Resources, including Employee Relations and Administrative Compliance, ensuring a solid connection between Field Operations and the Human Resources function.EDUCATION:5 years of full cycle HR Generalist experience; direct HR responsibilities in a multi-facility/multi-unit setting, Hospitality or Restaurant Industry a plus; must possess significant exposure to and experience in California-specific Regulatory & Statutory environmentSolid understanding of all components of the People Life Cycle; technical expertise in a handful of Human Resources sub-disciplinesExcellent understanding of HR systems, databases, and metrics; ability to compile, interpret, and operationalize HR data An unshakeable bias to action; the ability to work efficiently and resourcefully in a hands-on fluid environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skillsOutstanding active listening skills; ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organizationUndergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus; Fluent Spanish speaker
