What are the responsibilities and job description for the BISTRO Bartender position at Peregrine Hospitality?
Position Summary
As a Bartender, you’re responsible for servicing guests and preparing beverage orders and
courteously and efficiently serving food and beverages to guests in the food and beverage
outlet. Responsible for maintenance of bar area and support the restaurant & hotel staff.
Essential Functions
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bars and restaurants, in
accordance with service standards.
• Anticipate Guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all Guests, making
recommendations from guests’ preferences.
• Take Guests’ food and beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
• Complete opening duties as assigned, including check quality and quantity of all
bar stock and supplies using checklist
• Must be TIPS and Food Safety certified as required.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety
standards.
• Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve
all standards of operations.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
