Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins and Mott LLP (PBFCM) has an immediate opening for a Special District Assistant in our Houston office.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Special District Assistant supports daily operations related to water termination processes across multiple districts. This role ensures accurate tracking, timely communication, and consistent follow-through with clients, taxpayers, and water departments.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review multiple districts for water termination candidates
- Prepare various water termination letters and tags
- Receive and make phone calls daily from and to clients, taxpayers, and water departments
- Maintain documents within e-Cabinet system
- Correspond daily via email with clients, taxpayers, and water departments
- Follow up regularly on current and older water termination statuses
- Maintain and update our Access database system
- Track correspondence sent, received or requiring further action due to water terminations
- Meet daily and weekly deadlines related to the water termination districts
- Track payment agreements
- Additional clerical or administrative duties, as needed or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous office experience required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certifications and/or College Degree (Preferred)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Access, Word, Excel and Outlook
