Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal commercial setting.
- Conduct specialized floor care such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Utilize custodial equipment and cleaning supplies effectively to ensure thorough sanitation
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep as needed
- Support industrial cleaning projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed during heavy-duty cleaning operations
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and other designated areas
- Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities
- Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques
- Skills in floor care, buffing, and general maintenance are highly desirable
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or extractors is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and professionalism
