We're currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at a 800 bed Class A student housing community in Lawrence, KS.

You’ll oversee a small team of technicians, stay active in work orders, and help drive readiness for turn season at a well-established community that sees consistent HVAC, appliance, and in-unit plumbing needs.

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations for an 800 bed student housing community
- Supervise and support a team of approximately 3 maintenance technicians, including delegation, training, and accountability
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including refrigerant work (EPA Universal or equivalent required)
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and laundry equipment, and complete in-unit plumbing leak repairs as needed
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation and partner with the Property Manager on turn prep and maintenance priorities
Qualifications
- EPA Universal certification or HVAC certification with ability to handle refrigerant work (required)
- Experience leading maintenance work in multifamily, student housing, affordable, or other older conventional properties
- Proven reliability and consistent work history with strong follow-through and communication
- Hands-on maintenance skill set across HVAC, appliances, and basic plumbing (drywall experience is a plus)
- Comfort operating in a high-volume environment where service needs occur daily
Perks
- Total compensation range of approximately $52,000 to $62,000 annually (base pay plus bonus potential), with top-end pay equivalent to $30/hour
