Title: Substation Project Manager
Duration: Contract to hire
Location: San Ramon, CA & Sacramento, CA
Responsibilities:
- Lead high-voltage substation and transmission line projects end-to-end
- Manage planning, execution, budgets, schedules, and project closeout
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and project performance
- Handle forecasting, change management, and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years in utility projects (substation, transmission, or power delivery)
- Strong experience managing projects across the full lifecycle
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and project controls
- Experience with subcontractor/vendor management
- Tools: MS Office (SAP, Primavera P6, Power BI preferred)
- PMP certification preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
