Title: Senior Hydropower Engineer
Duration: FTE
Location: Lexington, SC or Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities:
- Lead hydropower projects across design, planning, and construction
- Oversee engineering for dams, spillways, penstocks, and powerhouse systems
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure project delivery (scope, schedule, quality)
- Provide technical leadership and support client relationships
- Mentor junior staff and support business development initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering PE license
- 15 years of hydropower engineering experience
- Strong expertise in design and project management of hydropower facilities
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
- Knowledge of regulations, permitting, and construction coordination
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and open to travel
