Unarmed Part time School Security Officer

Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers to join us

Qualifications:

• MUST have a Valid Driver's License
• Must be willing to obtain an Illinois Bus Permit
• Previous Experience in Security
• Required Training is preferred
• Security Guard License is preferred
• Must submit or pass a background check
• Great communication skills
• Full Time and Part Time Shifts Available
• Must be 21 years or older to be considered for the Unarmed Security Officer Driver Role
• 3 years' experience is a plus!
• 1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM
• $22 an hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening
process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per Mar Security Services attendance expectations.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes.
