We are currently looking to fill the position of Accounts Payable Clerk
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies. You will assist with month-end closing and financial reporting while maintaining organized and up-to-date accounts payable files. Collaboration with other departments is essential to ensure timely and accurate payment processing, and you will provide support for audits and other financial reviews.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files.
- Collaborate with other departments for timely and accurate payment processing.
- Provide support for audits and financial reviews.
Required Skills:
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with accounts payable and invoice processing.
- Understanding of prepaid bills and capitalizing versus expensing payments.
- Ability to perform reconciliation and three-way matching.
- Friendly/outgoing personality
