A preview of your day-to-day tasks
- Assists the orthodontist with all registered dental assisting duties, including orthodontic procedures, taking x-rays as prescribed
- Demonstrates ability to use assigned computer software and other equipment
- Adheres to all safety and infection control rules, using appropriate safety equipment
- Complies with HIPAA and maintains confidential information
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience assisting in an orthodontic setting
- Familiar with Dentrix software
- In depth knowledge of all orthodontics dental assistant duties
- All required certifications for dental assisting
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within a territory to provide orthodontic dental assisting services is required
