The Sportsbook Writer is responsible for selling and cashing race and sportsbook tickets while providing excellent customer service and ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Sell and cash tickets; sell Racing Forms and collateral literature.
- Ensure that wallboards and handouts are updated with current events, point spreads and odds.
- Audit electronic wallboard for accuracy and proper function.
- Ensure that TV monitors offer appropriate entertainment products.
- Develop relationships with guests, meeting or exceeding Peppermill Guest Service Standards.
- Monitor facility for cleanliness and supply inventory.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to maintain a valid license with the Gaming Control Board.
- Prior experience in cash-handling preferred.
- Keyboard data entry skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
