What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Engineer position at Peppermill Resort Spa Casino?
The Hotel Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment on property.

- Must have an excellent knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and Hydronic Heating and Air Conditioning.
- Must have the ability to fully understand directions and read and write English language.
- Must report to work on time and in proper uniform. A neat appearance and personnel hygiene shall be maintained though out the shift.
- Must clean up after every job performed and return all tools and materials to proper storage areas.
- Keep in contact with the housekeeping department when entering and leaving the room for more than twenty minutes. Block and unblock as needed.
- Must be able to communicate with hotel guests and be always friendly and pleasant.
- Must use all safety equipment as required.
- Must be safety minded and respond to hazards immediately.
- Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time and be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs.
- Previous experience with plumbing, minor electrical maintenance, and A/C repair skills a plus.
- Communicate verbally and writing in English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
