The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and property maintenance, clearing debris and refurbishing the building components to ensure quality guest experience.

- Performs routine inspections and repairs to all areas of the property.
- Respond promptly to all aspects of hotel construction maintenance to include paint, carpentry, wallpaper, tile and marble, plumbing, electrical, and hotel rooms and halls.
- Work efficiently and safely with all hand and power tools.
- Provide training and guidance to new hires and coworkers on general operations, equipment operations, and safety standards.
- Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions to management.
- Conducts regular safety inspections and addresses any potential hazards to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Annual completion of Respirator training and fit test.
- Maintenance experience in home renovations, hotel operations or facilities is preferred
- Available to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays and weekends as needed
- Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
