PEPL, Inc., is seeking a detail-oriented and employee-focused Benefits Analyst to join our client's onsite team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for our employees, open enrollment, and managing benefits administration, benefits reconciliation, leave administration, while ensuring smooth operations during open enrollment and throughout the year. You’ll provide critical support to employees while maintaining compliance with federal and state requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage open enrollment activities, including system setup, employee communication, and troubleshooting.
- Handle ongoing benefits administration (health, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.).
- Oversee leave of absence administration, including FMLA and related programs.
- Administer COBRA and ensure compliance with all related processes.
- Manage ACA administration and reporting requirements.
- Respond to employee questions, providing high-quality support and guidance.
- Perform regular benefit reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to maintain seamless processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in benefits administration; senior-level experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of benefits programs, COBRA, ACA, and leave administration.
- Proficiency in Paylocity required.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support employees with empathy and clarity.
