What are the responsibilities and job description for the Economic Support Worker position at Pepin County?
The primary job duties of the Economic Support Worker include call center functions for applicants and recipients of Food Share, Medicare, Badger Care Plus and the Wisconsin Shares Child Care Assistance programs, along with occasional face to face interviews for the eight-county Western Region for Economic Assistance (WREA) consortium.
Qualifications include graduation from accredited college with an Associate Degree, preferably in Human Services, Public or Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting. Two years related experience preferred. Preference will be given to applicants fluent in Spanish.
This position comes with a full benefit package, working 37.5 hours per week, with teleworking options available up to 100% of the time following an introductory period.
