What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant position at Peoria Post Acute and Rehab?
We are looking to hire an Activities Aide to join our Peoria Post Acute & Rehab family! This position is responsible for assisting in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this facility.
**A Fingerprint Clearance Card is Required**
Schedule:
- Full-Time schedule discussed upon interview
Essential Functions
- Reliability and able to communication efficiently and effectively
- Coordinates Activities for the residents of the facility
- Have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
- Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing activity services.
- Great customer service with a smile
- TEAMWORK & a positive can do attitude
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- One year of experience in the professional caregiving industry preferred
- Can work flexible schedule multiple days of the week
