Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking an engine integration Subject Matter Expert to support our Redstone Arsenal, AL location. Duties will include:

• Serve as Technical Subject Matter Expert for the Improved Turbine Engine (ITE) Product Office within the Aviation Turbine Engines Project Office supporting the Platform Integration & Test Team.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert technical guidance and expertise to the ITE Product Manager, Deputy Product Manager,
• Chief Engineer and Assistant Product Manager on platform integration execution, influencing leadership decisions and strategic planning for the program.
• Provide leadership to a diverse IPT consisting of members from UHPO, AHPO, SRD, TAPO, GE Aerospace, airframe OEMs, and ITE PO.
• Provide Technical Subject Matter Expert reviews, detailed analyses, and approval of Cycle Decks, Platform Interface Control Documents, Platform Ground Test Data, Platform Flight Test Data, Engine Test Data, Platform Operational Vignettes, Technical Reviews, Technical Performance Measures, Engine and Integration Contractor Data Requirements Lists, Technology Readiness Assessments, and other technical-related reviews and assessments.
• Initiate and develop requirements traceability between the ITE performance specification and the host platform performance specifications as well as to the user requirements documents.
• Support ITEP leadership by providing technical Subject Matter Expertise to develop milestone documents, acquisition strategies, program briefings, technical white papers, and other products.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert review and input on ITEP technical tasks and programmatic efforts to include Statement of Works, Performance Work Statements, Contractor Proposals, and contract data requirements list to include any relevant S&T and IR&D efforts.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise to coordinate, develop, review, and approve analyses, trade studies, and risk mitigation planning related to the development of the T901 ITE. Provide status reports to IPT and program leadership as required.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise to various technical and program management efforts, as directed, in support of ITEP leadership.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Comprehensive knowledge of propulsion-related aircraft integration and test.
• Familiarity with principles of gas turbine engine operation and engine and engine control system integration.
• Knowledge of and experience with the development, airworthiness qualification, integration, system level qualification, reliability and maintainability, fielding, and sustainment of engines, engine subsystems, or LRUs for Army aircraft.
• Experience in Program Management, knowledge of contract actions/SOWs/CDRLs, and Integrated Master Schedules.
• Travel: 25%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance upon hire and be able to maintain this level of clearance throughout their employment.
