Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, welcoming experience for every customer, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
- Handle routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Actively listen to customers to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions or referrals to other banking services.
- Maintain and balance cash drawer daily, ensuring all transactions are compliant with bank policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with patience, empathy, and a commitment to finding the best possible outcome.
- Promote bank products and services that can enhance the customer’s financial well-being.
- Uphold our reputation for excellent customer service by consistently going above and beyond in every interaction.
- Maintain knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance during all transactions
- Utilize financial software and perform basic math calculations including debits & credits, retail math, and 10 key typing for transaction processing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Prior experience in banking or retail sales is preferred but not required; comprehensive training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
- Basic math skills including cash handling and cashiering
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with banking software systems
- Knowledge of financial services such as loan processing, fraud prevention, and relationship management is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with banking operations
