We are now hiring for a Building Maintenance Technician (Carpentry, Drywall, Painting)
Looking for an experienced tech responsible for maintaining buildings in good condition by performing tasks such as upkeep, preventive maintenance, repair, landscaping, pest control, light plumbing, light electrical, and carpentry. Cleans, maintains, and repairs building fixtures and equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining buildings in good condition by performing tasks such as upkeep, preventive maintenance, repair, landscaping, handling air conditioning, heating, pest control, plumbing, and carpentry.
- General trade skills (painting, drywall, carpentry, minor electrical, and light plumbing)
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Ability to maintain proper schedules
- Ability to measure, cut, & install replacement woodwork as needed
- Ability to patch, fill, replace Drywall, and make ready for painting
- Ability to paint trim, walls, & ceilings inside and out with Brush & roll or Spray coat application
- Be in good physical condition and comfortable working outdoors as well as indoors and at varying heights.
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Three or more years of minimum working experience in the maintenance or carpentry field
- Own tools
- Verifiable work history that confirms your professional skills and experience
- Some assignments have additional screening requirements, such as background checks and/or drug screenings
- Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc)
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
