Hours: 5 x 8's
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
- Perform electrical rough-in, trim-out, and finish work
- Install and terminate electrical equipment, devices, panels, breakers, and fixtures
- Install and route conduit, raceway, wire, and cable systems
- Bend and install EMT and other approved raceway systems
- Pull, terminate, splice, and label electrical conductors
- Install lighting, receptacles, switches, disconnects, panels, and associated equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Perform accurate electrical layout and verify dimensions and installation locations
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, equipment, and components
- Use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to identify faults and verify system operation
- Coordinate electrical installations with other construction trades
- Maintain proper grounding and bonding practices
- Ensure installations comply with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow OSHA requirements and all project-specific safety procedures
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Proven experience as a Journeyman or highly experienced Commercial Electrician
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and safe installation practices
- Experience with conduit, wire pulling, terminations, panels, lighting, and commercial electrical equipment
- Must have tools of the electrical trade
- Must have full PPE and type 2 safety helmet with chinstrap
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must be physically capable of lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working throughout an active construction environment
