Job Description PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring a experienced fiberglass technician for a yacht company in Honolulu, HI. This is a Temp to perm opportunity. Candidates must be on island and have experience with boats repairs and maintenance of fiberglass components for boats and other watercraft. Call and speak to a recruiter today at (757)821-2870 Email: ccornish@peopleready.com Skilled Trades Recruiter: Crystal Cornish Responsibilities Repairing and replacing boat hulls, floors, stringers, transoms, and ski lockers Filling cracks and gouges Sanding, shaping, and fairing surfaces Applying gel coat and paint Mixing resins, glass fibers, and fillers Using a variety of tools, including drills, grinders, and sanders Following blueprints and drawings Reapplying gel coating to boat hulls and decks Qualifications & Experience Knowledge of marine fiberglass techniques Experience with polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy resin Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints Fairing Experience Physical strength and stamina Teamwork skills The hourly rate for this position is $25.00-$30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
