What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drywall Helper position at PeopleReady Skilled Trades?
We are hiring an experienced Drywall Finisher for a commercial hospital project. This position will support the lead drywall finisher with patching, repairs, cleanup, and other drywall-related duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead drywall finisher with daily drywall work
- Patch holes, damage, and other imperfections
- Perform drywall repairs and finishing as directed
- Prepare surfaces for finishing
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist with jobsite cleanup and material handling
- Perform other drywall-related duties as needed
Finish Levels
- Patient-facing areas & lobbies: Level 5 finish
- Exam rooms & corridors: Level 4 finish
- Back-of-house & utility areas: Level 2–3 finish
Requirements
- Previous commercial drywall finishing experience preferred
- Experience with patching and drywall repairs
- Ability to follow direction and work alongside a lead finisher
- Reliable attendance and ability to work safely in an active hospital environment
- Must be able to meet project/site access requirements, which include required background and sex-offender registry screening
