What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Low Voltage Electrician position at PeopleReady Skilled Trades?
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for skilled Electricians to join our team for commercial and new-construction projects. We are seeking experienced electricians with a strong background in conduit installation, low-voltage control wiring, and basic electrical installation. BAS/control experience is preferred.

Pay $35-$39/hr
Responsibilities
- Bend and install conduit fluently and efficiently
- Install and pull low-voltage control wiring
- Install BAS (Building Automation System) controllers
- Install unitary sensors
- Perform general BAS and low-voltage electrical installation as directed by the onsite team
- Follow all project and jobsite safety requirements
- Work safely and efficiently on active commercial and new-construction jobsites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow direction from onsite supervision and the project team
Required Experience
Candidates should have experience with:
- Conduit bending and installation
- Low-voltage control wiring
- Basic electrical installation
- BAS / control work preferred
- Working safely on active commercial and new-construction sites
Required Tools
Candidates must have:
- Basic electrical hand tools
- Drill
Project-provided equipment and materials include:
- Lifts
- Ladders
- Large tools
- All necessary project materials
Required PPE
Candidates must have:
- Class 2 hard hat with chin strap
- 100% Cut Level 3 gloves
- High-visibility safety vest
- Safety glasses
- Appropriate construction work boots and attire
Safety Requirements
Mandatory Day-One Safety Orientation
All skilled tradespeople are required to complete the project's day-one safety orientation before beginning work.
