Role Description:
Position: Software Architect
Job Type: Full-Time
Overview: Design and drive scalable, secure software architectures in a mission-driven environment, balancing hands-on development with long-term strategic leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-level and detailed software architecture solutions
- Guide engineering teams on best practices, modernization, and long-term tech strategy
- Translate business/technical requirements into robust system designs
- Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and observable
- Mentor engineers and define architectural backlog priorities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years in software engineering or architecture
- Proficiency in Java, C , Python, or Golang
- U.S. Citizenship Active Top Secret clearance
Preferred
- MBSE, C4 modeling (Structurizr), Architecture Decision Records (ADR), zero-trust security
- Security: Active TS/SCI required (or ability to obtain)
