Base Salary: $150,000 – $160,000

Role Description:

Nuvem Rx’s Pharmacy is looking for a compassionate, patient centric Pharmacist to manage and grow the pharmacy presence. As the pharmacy manager, you will be responsible in managing the pharmacy relationship with the health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug related education, acting as a member of the patient care team, and attendance of clinical meetings. As the Pharmacist in Charge/Pharmacy Manager, you are responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care - from advising on prescriptions to helping chronic and specialty conditions. In addition, you are responsible for facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride by leading, and directing your pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions for appropriateness and legality.
• Manage medication inventory, stocking, labeling, and expiration monitoring.
• Counsel patients and interpret their medication needs.
• Maintain patient profiles and accurate dispensing records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, fraud/waste/abuse regulations, and all federal, state, and local laws.
• Direct, schedule, and evaluate pharmacy technicians; report performance issues to senior management.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pharmacist License – State of Texas (Required; no pending applications accepted)

Experience

• 3–5 years of retail pharmacy management experience
• Proficiency with pharmacy patient management systems
• Previous leadership experience preferred
