Summary:

Welder Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding for the fabrication of metal assemblies.
- Ensure welding operations are performed in accordance with established specifications, including production work orders and drawings.
- Conduct self-inspections and ensure quality in accordance with procedures, utilizing drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools.
- Ensure safety while handling parts and operating equipment to avoid any possible damage to others as well as production.
- Actively participate in new product introduction and suggest new approaches and techniques for continued improvement in production and quality.
- Ensure product and work order information is accurate.
- Actively participate in the upkeep and cleanliness of the workplace and general area overall.
- Perform routine welding machine maintenance as stipulated and outlined in the maintenance procedure manual.
- Keep the workplace safe and free of dangerous obstacles.
Welder Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years of MIG/TIG Welding Experience
- Experience with galvanized steel
- Strong manual dexterity for precise and efficient work
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
