Job Title: Industrial Powder Coater– 2nd Shift
Location: Monticello, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift Hours 3:30pm – 11:30pm
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd shift Powder Coater to join our production team. The painter is responsible for coating products such as doors, fuel tanks, containers and skids etc. with paint.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sandblasting, masking, and degreasing
Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment
Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures and cycle times
Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, color consistency, and defects
Perform touch-ups or rework as needed
Maintain powder coating equipment, booths, and tools
Follow safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Read and follow work orders, specifications, and production schedules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of powder coating experience in industrial manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods..
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS: Company shall run a comprehensive background check on any temporary employee to be assigned to Client, including an employment background check and criminal history covering a period of no less than 7 years. Any temporary employee that has any felony convictions for a crime of deceit, violence, crime of a sexual nature, or drug conviction or any pending criminal charges of such nature that are pending must be approved by Client before any placement can take place. Client reserves the right to reject any temporary employee that does not meet its placement criteria as determined in Client's sole discretion. Company shall also maintain an I-9 file on any temporary employee and shall provide an attestation confirming employment eligibility upon Client's request.
