Quality Assurance Technician- 2nd Shift

Peoplelink Staffing is hiring in San Dimas, CA. Founded in 1923, our customer is a leading manufacturer that partners with world renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers to produce a variety of frozen, refrigerated, and shelf stable products. We are currently hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician in their San Dimas facility.

Quality Assurance Technician Details:

• 2nd shift
• Monday-Friday
• 1pm-9:30pm
• Overtime as needed
• $23.00/hr
• Temp to hire

Quality Assurance Technician Duties:

• Continuously monitor facility activities to ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Defense standards
• Perform analysis using analytical equipment to ensure product specifications are met
• Monitor, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment
• Collect in-process and finished product samples and submit to 3rd party lab
• Perform preoperational inspections
• Perform aseptic sampling
• Conduct allergen testing on finished products, raw material and equipment
• Follow protocols for documenting testing results

Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications:

• College degree (preferred) in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemisrty or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1 years in Food Manufacturing QA
• Must possess basic understanding of chemical, microbiology and mathematical analysis
• Bilingual preferred
• Problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude
