Job Title: Press Brake Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Monticello, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator to join our production team. The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operates machines according to both job and machine requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interprets print dimensions and bills of material for machine set-up information.
• Sets NC control settings and / or mechanical settings for appropriate part dimensions and / or cutting conditions.
• Selects and loads punches and dies in machine if appropriate.
• Loads metal into machine by hand or by hoist.
• Cycle machines to verify dimensions of work piece produced.

• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience setting up machines and operating machine in automotive/manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods..
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
