Maintenance Technician

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking Maintenance Technicians / Maintenance Mechanics to join their production facility team! Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

• Pay: Varies by location and experience (typically competitive for industrial maintenance roles)
• Shifts Available:

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and production machinery
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including wiring, motor controls, control panels, relays, and VFDs (up to 480V in some facilities)
• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Perform fabrication, welding, and equipment modifications as needed
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS or work-order systems
• Maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in a food-processing environment

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with conveyors, automated equipment, and production machinery preferred
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50–60 lbs.
• Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments (as required)
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
