Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a plant nursery, is looking to add a forklift operator/warehouse laborer to their team.
Forklift Operator Overview:
- $22/hr , pending experience
Forklift Operator Job Duties:
- Organize and stage product efficiently in cold storage areas.
- Load and unload product from semi-trucks safely and promptly.
- Stock product in coolers and freezers, maintaining proper storage conditions.
- Read and interpret reports to determine upcoming work and priorities.
- Restock product as needed to ensure availability.
- Communicate product shortages and inventory issues to co-workers.
- Prepare orders accurately for shipment.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Comfortable working in coolers and freezers with temperatures between 30-40 degrees.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Experience operating a hi-lo (forklift) safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in using an RF gun for inventory and order processing.
