Forklift Operator 

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Tupelo MS area is seeking Forklift Operator to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Forklift 

· Pay: $15 per hour 

· Shifts Available: 5am-1:30pm M-F

Required Qualifications

• Operate abrasive blasting equipment to clean, strip, and prepare metal components for painting or finishing.
• Remove rust, scale, oxidation, weld slag, paint, and other surface contaminants.
• Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Monitor blast media quality and replenish materials as needed.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, production schedules, and established work instructions.
• Maintain production targets while ensuring quality and safety requirements are met.
• Clean and organize blasting booths, equipment, and work areas according to 5S standards.
• Collaborate with weld, fabrication, and paint department personnel to ensure timely movement of products through the manufacturing process.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations regarding blasting operations and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous industrial blasting, manufacturing, fabrication, paint preparation, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate blasting equipment and associated tools.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pull and stage materials according to production schedules and work orders.
• Deliver raw materials, parts, and supplies to production areas as needed.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify material quantities and product numbers to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain inventory organization and proper storage of materials.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area.
• Assist shipping, receiving, and production departments as required.
• Complete basic paperwork and use inventory tracking systems when necessary.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand production orders and inventory documents.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
